  • H.O.O.T. Booths

    Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

    Location: Various locations on Kennesaw Campus & Marietta Campus

    The start of any semester can be overwhelming for students whether new or returning. In an effort to assist our students and to provide a welcoming university presence on campus, the Office of Orientation and Transition Programs (OTP) will host H.O.O.T. (Helping Others Orient Themselves) Booths. If you need assistance, stop by any of our locations for information and free swag! 

    • Student Involvement Fair: Club Sports & Student Orgs

      Time: 10am-2pm

      Location: Kennesaw Campus Green
      Rain Location: Kennesaw Campus Rec Center MAC Gym

      Meet Club Sports leaders and watch demos of the various Club Sports teams from 10-2pm!

      Chat with Student Organization leaders from 11-1pm to find out which Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) align with your interests!

      The Departments of Sports & Recreation, Student Activities, and Health Promotion & Wellness will also be present to discuss programs and events with which you can get involved!

      Don’t forget to bring your Student ID Card to get sweet treats and other freebies!

      • New Owl Welcome (N.O.W.)

        Time: 10am-2pm

        Location: Kennesaw Campus

        First-Year and Transfer students who attended Express Ignition orientations are encouraged to attend a N.O.W. Event. The New Owl Welcome is free and includes campus tours, opportunities to learn about student engagement, and a Student Involvement Fair which showcases KSU's student organizations, activities, and campus resources. Extend your orientation experience and come find out how to get involved on campus!

        • Rise Against Hunger Service Project

          Time: 1pm-2:30pm

          Location: Marietta Campus Student Center Ballroom

          To be a KSU Owl is to serve!  Join your fellow KSU Owls in this fun, hands-on service project as we address international hunger by packaging over 17,000 meals that will be sent to school feeding programs and crisis relief in developing countries around the world.  This project will also introduce you to KSU's office of Volunteerism and Service Learning Support--your hub for service and community engagement!  Learn more about the project by checking out this video or viewing this website.

          • Student Engagement Welcome Socials

            Time: 2pm-5pm

            Location: Marietta Campus Student Center

            The Department of Student Engagement will host WOW Socials which highlights departmental programs and offices that support the co-curricular student experience.  Student Engagement WOW Socials include: Adult and Commuter Student Affairs, GLBTIQ Student Programs, International Student Programs, Multicultural Student Programs, and Volunteerism and Service Learning Support.

            • Yard Show

              Time: 7:30pm

              Location: Kennesaw Campus ARC Amphitheater

              The National Pan-Hellenic Council along with the Multicultural Greek Council will host the 2nd annual yard show in which the fraternity and sorority members represent their organization’s core values through stepping, strolling and saluting performances.
